Speaking alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during an appearance in Turkey, Trump said the United States would "probably hit them hard again tonight," adding that Iran "deserve it." He confirmed that US forces struck Kharg Island on Tuesday night, a facility that handles up to 90 percent of Iran's oil exports, and suggested more strikes could follow.
"I said don't touch the oil because maybe we'll take over Kharg Island," Trump said, repeating an idea he has floated on and off since the conflict began. "There's not a thing they can do about it," he added.
